Play, win and Enjoy the best

Leon Kennedy Must Die Forever, a DLC for Resident Evil Requiem, was abruptly dropped by Capcom. The new Resident Evil Requiem mode, which is presently accessible on all platforms the game is currently available on, will provide returning players with something fresh to do. Minigames and side stories have long been a feature of Resident Evil games, including fan favorites like The Mercenaries mode, which lets players choose from a variety of characters who battle hordes of enemies. At the same time, a timer counts down, and story-expanding DLC like Not a Hero in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Now that Resident Evil Requiem is a few months old, its own side missions are beginning to be added.

Resident Evil Requiem Shadow Drops Leon Must Die Forever Mode

Now that Resident Evil Requiem has been updated to version 1.300.000, Leon Must Die Forever, a new free DLC, is included. Playing just as Leon, players must contend with some of the game’s formidable foes, much like in Resident Evil 7’s Ethan Must Die mode. In contrast to Ethan Must Die, Leon Must Die Forever is a roguelike where Leon must complete twenty stages without dying. Beginning at level 1 on Main Street, players progressively advance through the hordes of Raccoon City until they encounter foes like Victor, Super Tyrant, and The Commander. Players should be advised that in order to get this DLC, they must finish the game’s main plot.

Leon gets access to special abilities, such as improvements that can be utilized to increase the firepower of his weapons, the durability of his hatchet, and more, according to the description of the DLC. To move on to the next level, players must look for glowing doors; the tougher the adversaries are, the higher Leon’s level. As with other roguelikes, players must carefully select their route and enhancements because dying means restarting the game from the beginning. While boosts can be obtained by eliminating foes and clearing regions, players can also spend points from the main campaign to determine which random weapon is selected.

While it’s not the story DLC that Resident Evil Requiem fans have been waiting for, nor does it bring back characters that players have been asking about, like Ada Wong, the mode should offer some fun for those looking to pass the time. Players can complete 11 challenges, and given its roguelike nature, the game mode can offer a lot of replayability for those who enjoy the random challenges and finding the best paths and enhancements possible to get through them. While players are likely looking forward to knowing what happens next in the Resident Evil storyline, this game mode may at least satisfy those who enjoy Leon’s action-based gameplay in Resident Evil Requiem.
