ARC Raiders Delays New April Update

Embark Studios has delayed the patch 1.23.0 update for ARC Raiders by 24 hours to April 8, 2026

The weekly update for ARC Raiders, which was originally scheduled for April 7, has been postponed by 24 hours. Patch 1.23.0 will now be available for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 on April 8. Embark continues to support the smash popular extraction shooter with modest updates every week, even though new large ARC Raiders content upgrades are often released at the end of each month. Unfortunately, the next round of bug fixes and improvements has been hit with a short delay.

ARC Raiders’ Next Update Will Release April 8

Embark has pledged an extensive post-launch maintenance plan for ARC Raiders, with plans to continue upgrading the game for the next ten years, following the game’s enormous success with its launch late last year, including winning Best Multiplayer at the 2025 Game Awards. At the end of 2025, the studio released a significant update that included a second huge ARC enemy, the Matriarch, and the PvP-heavy map, Stella Montis. With four significant updates scheduled between January and April, Embark then began 2026 with additional content for fans to enjoy.

Embark Studios intended to release a smaller patch with additional bug repairs and enhancements on April 7, following the March 31 release of ARC Raiders’ major Flashpoint update. This is consistent with the smaller updates that are frequently made available on Tuesdays. Regretfully, a community manager confirmed that the patch had been delayed today on the official ARC Raiders Discord. “Patch 1.23.0 has been moved until tomorrow at the usual time,” Embark stated. This means that on Wednesday, April 8, at 2 AM PT, 5 AM ET, and 10 AM BST, the latest ARC Raiders update will formally launch for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

ARC Raiders’ 2026 roadmap has been released

The final update to ARC Raiders’ 2026 roadmap will be delivered in a few weeks for those who are eagerly awaiting additional content. While Flashpoint offered two new weapons, a scary new ARC enemy, and a devastating new “Close Scrutiny” map condition, April’s Riven Tides update might be the shooter’s largest to date. Embark is preparing to add a new terrain and another big ARC enemy, probably comparable to the Queen and Matriarch, according to the official plan. Although Riven Tides has not yet been released, it is anticipated to do so on April 28, the last Tuesday of the month.

Although there won’t be any new content in the April 8 ARC Raiders update, fans are anticipating some significant bug improvements. In particular, the community is urging Embark to remedy a problem that is leading to many ARC Raiders players’ inevitable deaths. Players found that if a Tick attacks while the character is holding a Battery or Field Crate, it can no longer be removed with the latest Flashpoint update. Despite being an uncommon occurrence, many people have already come across the bug and lost their equipment and weapons as a result.
