Path of Exile 2 Update 0.1

The first Path of Exile 2 patch for 2025 has been released by Grinding Gear Games, addressing several issues, including damage, skills, monsters, and more. The developer is also addressing bugs and crash issues to improve the Path of Exile 2 gameplay experience.

Fans of action role-playing games had great expectations for Path of Exile 2, which established itself as a direct rival to well-known games like Diablo 4. Even though server problems caused a challenging launch, Path of Exile 2 was a big success, reaching half a million players on its second day on Steam. Since the game’s launch, Grinding Gear Games has committed to fixing any technical problems players may run into and responding to their comments through patches.

Path of Exile 2 Update 2025:

Path of Exile 2 patch 0.1.0f includes numerous fixes for various game regions. One of these, a bug that created issues with Delirium mist and prevented monster spawns, was fixed by GGG. Players should be aware that when they open Strongboxes, Delirium mist will now pause for ten seconds. GGG also mentioned that future updates will likely bring more modifications to Strongboxes. Additionally, bugs about the jewels in Path of Exile 2, particularly Time-Lost Jewels, were fixed.

When modifying their maximum life, several players also encountered a bug that raised their character’s mana, energy shields, and other numbers. Occasionally, altering the maximum life would also remove overlapped life from Life Remnants; however, these problems have now been fixed. A bug that prevented Path of Exile 2’s Rolling Slam from functioning properly and affecting its damage output was also fixed. Patch 0.1.0f addresses the Mad Wolf of Ogham quest, which some players were unable to finish, for those who are experiencing problems with specific tasks.

Path of Exile 2 Update 0.1.0f Patch Notes:

  • A problem was fixed that allowed Rare monsters to suspend the Delirium mist for a long time before they even touched the Mirror of Delirium. This might lead to the mist not growing completely or opening a mirror without any creatures spawning. Also, upon opening a Strongbox, the Delirium mist is now halted for 10 seconds instead of the prior 5 seconds. It should be noted that, unrelated to Delirium Mist, a subsequent patch will make additional improvements to Strongboxes to make them less awful.
  • An issue that affected Time-Lost Jewels’ “increased effect of small Passive Skills in Radius” when modifier effects, suchas  The Adorned Unique Jewel, were raised or decreased has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused the player’s current life, energy shield, mana, over-capped mana, or over-capped energy shield to increase if they changed their maximum life, energy shield, or mana (for example, by equipping and unequipping things) has been fixed.
  • An issue that caused over-capped life from Life Remnants to be deleted whenever maximum life increased (for example, while leveling up or switching weapons) has been fixed.
  • An issue that caused the Colossus’ knife strike and Zalmarath’s projectiles to be erroneously positioned on top of the player has been fixed.
  • An issue that prevented Rolling Slam aftershocks from causing damage has been fixed.
  • An issue that occasionally prevented Ritual Altars from activating has been fixed.
  • A glitch that occasionally caused Xesht, We That Are One to fling hands incessantly has been fixed.
  • Fixed a bug where many Precursor Tablet modifier descriptions did not display when hovering over Maps in a radius of the completed Tower.
  • Fixed a client crash that could occur after entering Demon Form while fighting Zarokh, the Temporal.
  • Fixed a client crash that could occur with Fiery Death Support in party-play.
  • Fixed a client crash that could occur on PlayStation 5.
